Hurricane Protection Project at Chevron Pipeline Crossing – USACE
New Orleans, LA

Healtheon performed the construction of a temporary retaining structure for temporary flood protection on the West Bank of New Orleans, LA. The project included a regiment of services including jet grouting, clearing and grubbing, embankment placement, degrading of the existing levee, excavation, construction of concrete T-walls, construction of permanent pipe supports, driving steel sheet tile and H-piles, modification of existing facilities, turf establishment and maintenance, and an array of other incidental work.

Bayou Trepagnier Complex Flood Wall – USACE
St. Charles Parish, LA

North of Airline Highway in St. Charles Parish, LA, Healtheon completed a complex flood wall which included an excavation of 600 linear feet of scour protection and flood wall to subgrade. Healtheon also cleared and grubbed 2.1 acres of levee up to water level, placed embankment and sand fill, placed over 100 tons of rebar, and poured over 1,000 cubic yards of concrete to form 600 linear feet of scour protection and flood wall.

High Pressure Industrial Water Plant (HPIW) – NASA Stennis
Stennis Space Center, MS

The objective of the project was to increase the water flow capacity of the HPIW to the B Test Stand at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi during testing of the SLS booster stage. Healtheon took care of a low voltage panel board as well as the installation and modification of control system. The installation of new local and remote control system was added for start/stop and speed capability and monitoring of the new pump package system and peripherals.

Hurricane Protection Project – Jetty Rehab, Nav Light Repair and Construction – USACE
Jefferson Parish, LA

Healtheon rehabilitated the West End Grand Isle jetty in Jefferson Parish, LA to its original specifications. Navigation lights and light platforms near all breakwater structures were repaired / replaced, and 4,500 tons of jetty stone were added to the site. A new light platform was also constructed at the end of the jetty with a new navigation light installed on top.

Storm-Proofing Pump Stations – USACE
Jefferson Parish, LA

At the Ames West Bank and Duncan East Bank Pump Stations in Jefferson Parish, LA, Healtheon prepared the premises for emergency situations. The project included mechanical and electrical work that dealt with large-scale generators, support foundations, enclosures auxiliaries and controls. Healtheon also constructed fuel storage structures and placed 7,000 linear feet of timber piles.

Plaquemines Parish Pump Station Repairs – USACE
Plaquemines Parish

Healtheon completed civil construction activities and mechanical repairs and replacement at five pump stations across multiple parishes, including Plaquemines. Mechanical and electrical repairs involved trash rake repair, engine replacements of drainage pump drive systems; replacement of diesel and electric air compressors and generators; electrical panel replacements; and replacement of indoor / outdoor lighting.
